The oldest building in Alta, Utah, Snowpine Lodge received an overhaul to produce an upscale alpine experience. Its 2019 debut marked the first luxury hotel in Alta. With roots in the town’s rich mining history, the recently refreshed property pays tribute to its storied background through Swen’s Restaurant, original artwork and rustic décor.
Nestled in the heart of Little Cottonwood Canyon about 25 miles from Salt Lake City, the lodge is surrounded by nature, which affords gorgeous scenery year-round. Inside, you’ll find a cozy sitting area complete with a large stone fireplace where you can warm up after a day on the slopes.

- Snowpine Lodge is Alta’s first ski-in, ski-out hotel. A newly constructed lift is just a short downhill ski away from the property's complimentary lockers to take you to the neighboring slopes.
