Set on the man-made Hayat Island and surrounded by the Jebel Jais mountains and the impossibly blue waters of the gulf, this 351-room beach resort offers contemporary rooms, suites and villas (some with private pools but all with fantastic ocean views), a private beach, swimming pools, a spa, health club and six world-class restaurants and bars. Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is a 45-minute drive from the resort another 45 minutes takes you to Dubai.

Ample sunlight fills the spacious rooms and suites, each of which comes with private balconies or terraces and oversized daybeds from which to enjoy the brilliant sea views. Beige and blue carpet invites the sand and sea into the modern rooms, while plush beds and other top features promise the utmost comfort. Bathrooms come with separate rain showers and bathtubs.
A splurge on one of the 70 Club InterContinental rooms and suites, located in a separate building, is worth it for privileges such as a separate check-in area, exclusive access to an adults-only pool and deep-soaking hot tubs, and the Club InterContinental Lounge, where you’ll find breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés and a cocktail hour.
With indulgent body treatments, reinvigorating massages and rejuvenating facials in pearl-inspired, oval-shaped treatment rooms (including two couples suites) and a Turkish hammam experience, the spa offers plenty of excuses to book yourself in for a couple of hours of sheer relaxation. All treatments use quality products by renowned brands such as Aromatherapy Associates and Proverb that are enriched with luxe ingredients such as argan oil, Himalayan rock crystal salts and green tea.

Things to Know

Well-equipped with strength training, cardio machines and free weights, and home to a private fitness studio and saunas, the bright health club is a great spot to get your daily workout in. During the cooler months, take advantage of the space’s outdoor tennis courts.
Other than a schedule of daily activities, you’ll find kayaks, jet-skis, banana boats and stand-up paddleboats at the resort’s private beach. All are excellent ways to appreciate the gorgeous location surrounded by the azure gulf waters.
Children and teens can expect to enjoy their time at this family-friendly resort. At Planet Trekkers Kids Club (for children from four to 12 years), young visitors can participate in face painting, kids’ yoga, games, beach relays and other beach-related activities. They can also let loose at the outdoor jungle gym, while arcade games and foosball tables are available at the Teens Club. Tykes can also enjoy a smaller pool next to the resort’s main one.
