Golden Flower at Encore Macau is nothing short of extravagant. Executive chef Henry Zhang takes you on a tour of the country's culinary heritage, with traditional and modern Northern Chinese, Shandong and Sichuan dishes featuring premium ingredients like Wagyu beef, foie gras and caviar. Of course, tea plays a prominent role in China's culinary past and present, and a team of tea artisans — akin to sommeliers — will pair courses with blends from its collection of more than 50 teas from all over the country.
Not to be outdone by the kitchen, the flower-garden-themed dining room is a feast for the eyes. Parasol-shaped lighting fixtures at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant shine down over floral design touches, from bloom mosaics on the doors to chairs bearing florals.
